Keeping track of this blog is crazy while on vacation. Inbetween Flava' of Love , and Flip This House marathons i hardly have time to blog about my escapades around vancouver. The Art gallery was a great spot to hide out for New Years Eve. The Art Gallery is at 750 Hornby Street in the downtown area. Let it be said that Emily Carr and her art suck. That being said I'm going to have to watch my back until i leave here because these Canadians have a serious love for this womans work. I find it horrible. The current exhibit is Paint, but i think thats ending soon. The place was alright, i just cant figure out why with such a grand central area they would paint over light sockets with that thick white ass nasty paint. I actually am starting to see people i know around town and in places...like the Art Gallery, like the hostess from my hotel. Later when i talked to her back at the hotel she said "the Emily Carr exhibit was beautiful wasnt it" i just said i have to go. So check it out www.vanartgallery.bc.ca
Im forgetting to tell you about Scoozis. On New Years Eve Vancouver basically shuts down and you cant get anything, same with New Years Day. On the eve though we were forced to eat at Scoozis. After waiting Ten Minutes to be sat we waited about an hour for our food. As i became more and more annoyed i started having nightmares about how bad the food was going to be. It was brilliant, so damn good. It was some sort of Mediterranian fusion breakfast stuff. I wanted to be mad and stiff them , but i couldnt bring myself to after such a good meal.I just looked at their site and the opening photo says it all. www.scoozis.ca
