and this one as well. i have seen some of the best stuff go down on this porch. melissa her dad and i shotgunning beers, simon talking crazy, leafblowers being shot with hoses, sharing oversized headphones listening to okervill river while dean yells at us, hearing someone who slapped their wife tell us how she would get the same thing all over again....but through everything that happened there this is one of the moments that i really really love. nothing happened, nothing was beginning to happen, it was just dean and i "spanning time"

the wife story is....not you. it may not have even been a slap. it may have been a punch. we didnt see it, but we were on the porch after to bask in the punchyness. but to clarify. dean did not beat up melissa on the front porch. that was in the garage
i just cant say who it was because they read this. and im not telling anyone who put the hurt on their wife at one of your parties
the chair knows. the chair knows all. and so might my sister who likes to curl up under blankets and pretend she is asleep, with one ear poking out and one eye half open, emitting a soft, fake snore just like in the cartoons: "unnghhh, mee, mee, mee, mee . . . "
the only one who knows what I'm talking about is the polywog in the pond.
The delay in posting is not helping me to miss Long Beach. But I do miss you, your pregnant wife and my godson. pictures of them would be cool.

that's what i told him. i made him take a picture of the belly for you.
right now im waiting for the gardners to come so i can tell them not to plant some of our potted plants because carol told us that's how your gardenia plant is now in the ground.
but i can't move them the pots because they are much too heavy.

Those gardeners will plant anything you leave out. Surprised they didn't plant my cooler or car wash bucket.

i wanted to buy a garden gnome for the front but jonny said only if i plant it.....
hmmmm.....
maybe ill leave this one to the gardners!
