im not really sure why everyone is so appaled that we would have troops at a border. stop and think about it, border, people crossing it illegaly, troops available, social services raped by illegal immigrants....come on, there should be land mines down there. do i think mexicans should have the right to live and work in the united states? yes..why not? do i think you should let a bunch of people pour into holes in borders and burden a country with people using a social system that they dont pay into. no. i think mexicans should pay into and take out of our system as equaly and freely as we do. they have every right to. but i really dont see anything wrong with border blockage. people from the united states cant just go to other countries and roll in and say give me this give me that....we cant even work without going through a million hoops...maybe we can, but were so used to going through the proper channels that we feel we cant. but thats how we roll. i think americans should have realized a long time ago that mexicans are a key part of the labor force in the united states, even if it is jobs we just dont want to do. but they matter, as much as a major ceo, if not more. but you cant just run across the border and expect it to be all good. you need to go through the proper channels. so your kids are starving and theres a country that will give you more than what you get now right up the road. i would go, the u.s should let them in. they come to the border, they get a retina scan or some finger printing, print outa card with their picture and infor on it. tell them they have 6 months to establish an address and employment and that gets the card extended. i think its easy. but i also believe that when youre exploiting a labor source that you have to keep them divided and you have to keep them scared. the solution to being exploited is to fight, but against who? the mexicans chose their bosses, which was a horrible mistake. they should have joined with their bosses and fought the government to establish citizenship channels for their employees. the government wont allow it you say? the employers wont to it? idealistic? so is kicking 12 million people out of your country. one of these scenarios will work. one is making it ok for these guys to be here, the other ..is deport 12 million people we need and have made part of our families. its all smoke and mirrors, while youre looking at the border, you should be trying to find out why they want you looking at the border so badly
